Welcome to the Burnham Grammar School Sixth Form.
We fully understand how difficult choosing this next step on your academic journey can be. What we are trying to do here is provide with a range of information about the facilities and opportunities that our school can provide to help you make that decision.
The current Burnham Grammar School buildings were completed in November 2021 and hence new students will have the opportunity to use our brand-new facilities, including state of the art classrooms for all subjects as well superb facilities for clubs and other extracurricular activities.
The important element of this school is not the buildings though it is the people. We pride ourselves on our ability to grow and nurture each student so that they can reach their full potential, as can be seen in range of top universities that our students go on to and the fantastic careers our alumni have. We hope that you decide to continue your academic journey with us.
Sixth Form at Burnham Grammar School
Most of our students stay on from Year 11 into the Sixth Form and are joined by about 40 new students in Year 12.
Value added figures (progress from GCSE) are also some of the highest amongst Buckinghamshire grammar schools. Students are also expected to take an active role in the life of the School and are usually seen as role models for the younger students.
