Facilities and Lettings

Burnham Grammar School has an excellent range of facilities for hire which include a new school build and a refurbished 3G synthetic pitch.

Facilities in the new school include a sports hall, activity studio, hall (tiered seating available on request), canteen/dining area, classrooms and more.

Facilities are available to hire as per the schedule below:

During term time

  • 5:30pm-10pm weekdays
  • 8am-10pm Saturdays
  • Sundays 9am-5pm

During School Holidays

  • 8am-10pm Mon-Sat
  • Sundays 9am-5pm

The facilities enable us to offer an amazing venue to a variety of clubs and businesses in the local community and surrounding areas, which include football clubs - rugby clubs - gymnastics clubs - toddler clubs - music schools - tuition and coaching courses - performing arts schools and more.

Active in the Community is a not-for-profit project management organisation that provides activities, projects and services to the local community.

The pitch has been updated with a pair of Full Size Rugby Posts, new Full Size Freestanding Stadium Box Goals, new 9x9 Freestanding Goals and 3 pairs of 5x5 Rollaway Self-Weighted Elliptical Aluminium Goals.

Changing rooms available nearby and the use of floodlights during the winter months, a small additional charge applies.

All hirers must provide Active in the Community (AITC) with the following information prior to the start of the letting:

  • The Lettings Policy completed and signed by the hirer and the AITC authorised signatory
  • A copy of the organisation’s child protection policy*
  • A letter of assurance that all staff are appropriately DBS cleared*
  • A copy of the organisation’s Public Liability insurance
  • Details of the organisation’s first aid arrangements

*if U18s will be present / participating.

The hirer should indemnify the School from and against any liability, damages, costs, charges and expenses incurred by the School as a result of any breach by the hirer of the conditions of the Lettings Policy.

Burnham Grammar School would also encourage parents, carers and other individuals to research, make their own enquiries and assessments to satisfy themselves as to the suitability of the events, clubs and courses, held at the School before enrolling.
