Students enjoyed great success at the recent Royal Society of Chemistry Olympiad. Great preparation meant the A level students were awarded bronze, silver & gold awards. BGS enjoyed a successful ski trip to the USA. It was packed full of excellent progress (beginners attempting black runs!) and fun on the slopes. Students had fun with great ski instructors.

Some Year 10 students visited Brasenose College, Oxford for a day trip. We celebrated World Book Day. As well as raising money for the library through a school-wide TOG day, both students and teachers alike celebrated by dressing up as their favourite book characters. On the 12-14th February, we had our Annual Dance show. The theme was BGS on Broadway and over 250 students took part to make our show a raging success.

Crochet Club made hearts to raise money for The British Heart Foundation. They took part in an Interhouse Competition to crochet the biggest heart.
It was very competitive!
