Congratulations to the Year 7 students who celebrated the achievement of their BGS Diploma on Thursday.

Over the course of their first year at BGS these students have:

• Demonstrated development of six core study skills across their subjects 
• Demonstrated engagement with the wider school life completing the Diploma Challenges
• Demonstrated development of digital, enterprise and employability skills through completion of iDEA to Bronze standard

Students' achievement was celebrated in an awards assembly which included certification, issuing of our bespoke badge complemented with speeches on the importance of personal development from members of the 6^th Form leadership team alongside alumni Simran Kundun.

Year 7 then unleashed their energy and enthusiasm in their participation of practical challenges hosted by Year 12 Sports Leaders.

Well done Year 7 and the onward pursuit of character development.
