Last week, Year 7 students at Burnham Grammar School took part in a SEGRO Building Futures Workshop, in conjunction with Learning to Work.
Students took part in a workshop within the hall with representatives from SEGRO, learning about the history of Slough Trading Estate & SEGRO as a organisation. Students were made aware of the many companies within SEGRO, and what these companies do/manufacture. We also heard from Ms Kinchin, a representative from Wates Construction, who spoke about her role.
Our students were able to take part in various activities, filling out a booklet about what they had learnt from the session. It was a great session for our Year 7 cohort here at Burnham Grammar School to learn about the local careers & employment opportunities available to them both Post 16 and Post 18.
Thank you to Learning to Work & SEGRO for an informative session for our students.
