Iftar

Heartwarming Iftar
This past Friday, our school community came together to share in the spirit of Ramadan with a beautiful and inclusive Iftar. Students and staff gathered to break the fast, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere of fellowship and understanding.
The event, organized by  the Muslim student association, saw a diverse array of delicious food shared, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of Ramadan. From traditional dates and refreshing drinks to savory dishes and sweet treats, everyone was able to enjoy a fulfilling meal.
Beyond the shared meal, the Iftar provided a valuable opportunity for students and staff from different backgrounds to connect and learn more about the significance of Ramadan.
Rayaan Islam, an ex-student, provided a thoughtful speech and several students amazed us with a moving recitation. Many students shared their personal experiences of fasting, while others gained a deeper appreciation for the values of compassion, generosity, and community that underpin the holy month.

"It was wonderful to see so many people come together," said Rayaan "It really highlighted the sense of unity we have as a school."
The successful Iftar served as a powerful reminder of the importance of celebrating diversity and fostering a sense of belonging within our school community. It was a truly memorable evening, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of connection and understanding.
Thank you to the Heads of MSA for organising.
